This piece showcases gorgeous geometric openwork borders throughout the body, created by meticulously pulling warp and weft threads and needle-weaving the remaining fibers into crisp bars and corner wheels. The four outer corners are finished with beautiful, complex geometric needle-lace square inserts.

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. The linen fabric is crisp and structurally sound, showing the lovely natural slub texture of genuine flax. The openwork areas are incredibly clean with no broken brides, frayed bars, or loose threads. When folding up I found a speck! Pictured next to penny. Last photo
