Vintage Irwin Original & Complete 10 Pc Set, Oak Box Hand Drill Brace Bits, Fine For Sale

Original and complete a Vintage Boxed Set of 10, Irwin Solid Center Auger bits for Brace. All in excellent Condition with the same Premium Irwin logo. Some of the Bits look only lightly used. Spurs and screw points all look fine some appear still factory sharp!

All are premium Irwin bits. The oak hardwood box is in great condition as well for its age.

This set is a 10 piece set and includes the original auger bit sizes: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16. Also includes a screwdriver bit made for a bit brace. These numbers correspond to 16th of an inch, ie the number 4 equals 4/16” or 1/4”

Also Includes the classsic Irwin booklet “How to select, care for and use wood bits”

I am in upstate South Carolina. I have recently retired. One of my hobbies has been woodworking, but never had the time to do it as well as would like. A few years ago I became passionate about using vintage hand tools vs. battery or electric powered whenever it made sense to do so. Today my passion still thrives and I enjoy properly oiling/waxing, cleaning or refurbishing, if needed those same vintage woodworking tools.

 My goal is to place as many of these high quality, made in the USA vintage hand tools back into the hands of today’s craftsmen. I would never “part out” a good tool just for the proceeds. If the tool I have acquired is serviceable I will put it into as good of condition it can be and sell to friends or on . All I am trying to do is receive some compensation for my time and retain enough capital to be able to purchase more tools, some in need of gentle care.  Please join me in “Saving the Tools”
