Beautiful Irish linen napkins. One dozen in the set. Still wrapped in original ribbon, but no box or price tags remain, but the makers label is present and is by \"Irish Cabin\"My own personal item. Bought in the 90s I think. Could even be 80s. High quality Irish linen!
45x45cm square. Hemstitched - 2.5cm border, punchspoke, mitred corners

Mitred corners have a seam run diagonally in from the corner, into the inside of the seam - as opposed to a through corner which would have a seam parallel to one of the sides.

Punchspoking, or hemstitching, involved punching a hole along the seam before two needles lay down a stitch on each side to hold the hole open. This creates a neat border around the napkin.I have several linens listed, they are all my own personal items, bought in the 80s or 90s from the Irish Linen Co. in Burlington Arcade. The shop is no longer there. Not sure when it closed or I could perhaps narrow down the purchase date better. They have been carefully stored, but may nevertheless have some storage damage.
