Precious little puppy planter from what I believe to be is Enesco (or Inarco) origin! It’s unmarked, other than with an item number: E-4075. Whoever made it or where, it’s just as cute as can be- with big blue eyes and a face that looks somewhere between spooked and playful!
He’s wearing a cheerful little tam o’ shanter over his curly floppy ears, with a jaunty blue bow to match!
Built to house your sweetest little plant, he has a pot that perhaps once filled explains that astonished stare?
Condition wise, he has a few notable and visible chips as shown- one on his cheek and another on his bow. There is crazing in his glaze, some glaze sloppiness all over- one eyebrow and his bow for sure.
His planter was used and shows it! Lots and lots of fine cracks and crazing in there as well as earthy discoloration all around the interior rim. I’ve carefully cleaned it and at least gotten everything visible that I could outside the pot- but the interior is stubborn. I’d look elsewhere if you were looking for a cute place to store custard or cotton swabs, lol.
Please do review all photos carefully for best representation of condition and decoration- I’ve tried to capture him very thoroughly.
