Beautiful vintage footed porcelain trinket box / lidded dresser jar produced by the Hua Rong Tang Zhi (華榮堂製) workshop. This elegant piece features a classic undulating bombé shape adorned with hand-painted brown floral branches, delicate gold accents, and a heavy, intentional all-over crackle (crazing) glaze that gives it a beautiful antique character.
The box is elevated by four ornate cast brass feet and topped with a matching detailed leaf-and-bud lid finial. The bottom bears the traditional red square stamp ("Made by Huarong Hall") alongside the vintage export compliance text: "Not For Food Purpose / For Decorative Use Only."
Condition Details:
Excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, structural cracks, or repairs. The porcelain body is structurally sound, and the intentional surface crazing is clean and uniform. The heavy cast brass hardware shows beautiful natural age-related patina (slight verdigris in the crevices) and is securely attached. Sits completely flat without wobbling.
