Vintage late 1970s/early 1980s Hein Gericke leather motorcycle riding jacket designed exclusively for Harley-Davidson.
Heavy black leather construction with an uncommon double front zipper system, integrated padded leather panels at the shoulders, elbows and lower back, adjustable leather waist belt, high snap collar, zippered cuffs and multiple zippered pockets.
The double-zip construction allows for two different closure positions, providing additional room for layering when using the wider setting. Period examples of this Hein Gericke/Harley design date to the early 1980s.
Quilted insulated interior with nylon taffeta lining and polyester interlining. YKK zipper hardware throughout.
Excellent vintage condition with very minor age-related surface wear and creasing as pictured. Leather presents beautifully and the lining, belt, padding and hardware are all in excellent overall shape.
