This vintage 1960s Heilig-Meyers Furniture Store "MacSaver" advertising bank stands 7 inches tall and was manufactured in Japan. The ceramic promotional figure features a thrift-conscious Scottish mascot in a traditional kilt holding a cane, with a sporran pouch clearly labeled "MacSAVER." This rare bank utilized the same novelty mold as the popular "MacBoozer" decanters of the mid-century era. It remains in great vintage condition, displaying beautiful authentic glaze crazing across the surface, vivid original paint, and its original black plastic bottom stopper fully intact.
