For sale is a beautiful, heavy vintage solid brass vessel. 8\" height x 6\" diameter. This piece features a classic bulbous body, a flared rim, and twin holes near the neck where a swinging handle originally attached. The unit weighs 2 lbs, 6.5 oz.
The manufacturing details on this piece give it incredible character:- Features distinct horizontal lathe/spinning marks along the body.- The flat base displays heavy dimpling and pitting characteristic of traditional sand-casting.- An authentic, manually soldered base seam joins the bottom to the main structure.
