Beautiful vintage handwoven wool rug featuring a striking traditional geometric design in deep red, black, cream and mustard/gold. The design consists of a repeating central row of red diamond motifs outlined in black, surrounded by a cream field and dramatic serrated geometric border.Measures approximately 60 inches long x 33 inches wide.Believed to date to approximately the 1960s. Navajo/Diné attribution and age have not been professionally authenticated, so please examine all photographs carefully and make your own assessment.Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with visible age and use. There are scattered pink/red stains or color marks on the cream areas, some discoloration/spotting, edge wear and irregularities consistent with an older handwoven textile.
