Handmade Islamic Arabic Persian Calligraphy Wall Art Framed in handmade Khatam frame frame Persia. On the back is a handwritten note in Farsi revealing this frame and art was gifted to a couple in 1997 so it’s at least 25-30 years old. Painstakingly handmade using wood, camel bone or ivory traditionally and metal. Inlay is gold in color and I believe is made of brass. Absolutely stunning piece. Inscription on brass is written in Farsi which is a basmala and reads “In the name of Allah the compassionate, the merciful”. Unbelievable craftsmanship in the Khatam frame, excellent condition without any digs, cracks or chips of any kind. Google says it’s firmly in the $150-$330 price range, I love it and I’m sure you will too
