This is a lovely vintage handmade needle case.
It's made of linen, thread and a different type of fabric for holding the needles.
It's exquisitely stitched with embroidery and cross stitch designs. There are tassels on each corner.
I didn't want to remove the needles because they were there when I bought it and I get sentimental about leaving original vintage and antique items in as found condition.
There is drawn thread work along the borders also.
One of the tassels has torn and is missing a few loops as you can see in the pictures.
Also there are some minimal minute discolorations such as the one near my finger.
You will love it if you find vintage to antique sewing items endearing.
