Vintage Hand Painted Floral Toleware Pan Folk Art Metal Bowl Wooden Handle Cottage core
The exterior has a deep forest-green ground decorated by hand with bold red, pink and yellow flowers, green foliage, white scalloped detailing and a yellow rim. The red-painted handle fitting and turned wooden handle add even more character.
The interior is unpainted galvanised-style metal.
Approximately 9 inches / 23 cm diameter across the bowl, excluding the handle.
A particularly decorative piece that would look fantastic displayed in a country, cottage or eclectic kitchen — either sitting on a shelf or incorporated into a wall display. Also a lovely piece for collectors of vintage folk art and painted toleware.
Vintage condition with plenty of genuine age-related character. There is wear and chipping to the painted rim and some marks, oxidation/patina and surface wear to the metal interior. The exterior floral decoration remains bright and very attractive. Please study photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description.
