Vintage Hand Carved and Painted Shorebird on Driftwood Base, Signed & Dated For Sale

This charming hand carved and painted shorebird is signed and dated 1983 and inscribed by artist, Ruth Robinson, as her gift to Mr. Comer. This wader was wonderfully carved and reflects a crisp and striking color palette even though it may have been created by a somewhat young and novice artist (who hopefully continued her craft). Measuring approximately 7-1/2 inches in height and 9 inches across from beak to tail. The bird stands securely on a rustic driftwood base which measures approximately 8-1/2 inches by 5 inches.
