Charming hand-carved and hand-painted wooden rooster with a wonderful primitive, rustic folk-art appearance. The rooster features a distressed mustard yellow body, reddish-brown wings and tail, and a bright red comb and wattle decorated with white dots.
The carving has lots of character, including incised details throughout the wings, tail, and body. It is displayed on a sturdy black wooden-style rectangular base with a black support stand.

Condition:
Pre-owned very good vintage/primitive condition. One small area of paint loss, and a small nic. These imperfections are consistent with the rustic folk-art appearance of the piece. Please examine all photos carefully, as they are part of the description.
