Striking vintage hand-carved wooden eagle featuring deeply carved feather detailing and a wonderfully aged dark finish.
Measures approximately 10” x 7”. The hand carving gives this piece lots of character, with visible wear, surface marks and variations consistent with age and its handmade nature.
The underside retains an old handwritten inscription/marking, which has been left untouched. The writing is partially faded and difficult to decipher—please see photos.
