Vintage hand-carved teak wood bird figurine, made in Thailand. Carved from a single solid block of teak into a stylized bird form with a scalloped feather-scale texture along the body and tail, and a shallow hollowed compartment in the back — perfect as a small trinket dish, ashtray, or catch-all for rings/keys/coins.
Original "Teak Wood, Made in Thailand" foil label still present on the underside (see photos).
Condition: Vintage/pre-owned. Natural age-related drying cracks along the wood grain (see close-up photos) — typical of solid teak carvings of this age and not structural. No chips or losses to the carved details. Please review all photos closely as they are part of the description.
