Vintage round hinged trinket/jewelry box in green banded onyx with pale green, white, and rust-brown/gold veining, gold-tone metal rim trim, a small rear hinge, and three ornate cast-metal feet in a stylized dolphin/fish shape with curled tails. The interior is unlined polished stone with a brown/gold swirl pattern. No maker mark, origin, or age is visible, and none is claimed. Condition is pre-owned: the stone is polished and glossy with no large chips or cracks, but please note a tiny nick/chip at the lid edge, a few small rust-brown surface specks near the lid edge, and light surface scratches; some banding veins read as hairlines but appear to be natural veining, not cracks. The brass trim shows noticeable tarnish/patina and darkening on the lid rim, base rim, and hinge; the hinge looks intact and the lid sits on the base in the closed photo, but flush closure cannot be fully verified from the photos.
