This is a Mid-century Goldscheider fine China figurine in excellent condition Approximately made around the 1950's. The figurine is draped in a flowing grey gown with green trim. The Chinese Poet holds a scroll in Chinese writing.
This figurine is made of fine China and is designed by Sylvia Scott for Goldscheider. It is stamped "Original Goldscheider Fine China Goldscheider Inc, Chinese Poet by Sylvia Scott" on the bottom of the base.
