Manufactured in West Germany, this mid-century matching lot includes the iconic lidded sugar bowl (design mold S183) and the coordinating salt and pepper shaker pair featuring the monks holding bright red bibles or books close to their chests. Each piece showcases the beloved portly monk dressed in a chocolate brown habit robe with hand-painted white rope accents and cheerful, rosy cheeks. The sugar bowl stands 4 inches tall and features a built-in slot for a serving spoon, while the 3-inch shakers come complete with both of their original plastic bottom stoppers intact.
