Vintage Gillette 1927/28 Gold Plated NEW Improved Combination Set (Item #271)
The razor is a 1927/28 NEW Improved. It appears to have very little wear, but some of the gold plating is missing. The threads on the cap and knob are in excellent condition allowing the 3 pieces to go together with no problems, as they should. Two of the teeth are slightly bent.
The canisters are in very good condition-no dents that I see. Most of the plating is missing.
The original leather case in my opinion is in good condition overall. The hinges on the lid and the snap are intact, and the interior is worn due to use and age, but still in good condition.
This razor has been cleaned and lightly hand polished as needed.
