Vintage Gien France “Grands Crustacés” ceramic/faience tile trivet featuring a striking lobster and crustacean marine-life design accented with botanical details in warm yellow, rust, green, pink and black tones. The artwork bears the small “BB” monogram on the front, and the reverse is molded “GIEN FRANCE” along with additional production markings.
The square ceramic tile is surrounded by a decorative wavy gold-tone metal frame, giving the piece wonderful French coastal and Mid-Century character. A distinctive collectible for Gien enthusiasts, vintage French pottery collectors, or lobster and coastal décor.

Condition:
Pre-owned vintage condition. Ceramic displays well with no obvious cracks or major chips observed. The reverse has age-related marks, discoloration and surface wear. Gold-tone metal frame shows areas of finish wear, spotting/tarnish and patina consistent with age and previous use.
