Vintage Gerber Shorty fixed blade hunting knife made in Portland, Oregon, USA.
This is an original black-handle example from approximately the 1980s, featuring Gerber’s distinctive cast handle design and classic upswept hunting blade.
Includes the original Gerber leather sheath, clearly embossed:

Knife is in very good vintage condition with light scratches, handling marks and normal age-related wear. Blade remains bright and presents well. Black textured handle is solid with no obvious cracks or major damage. Original leather sheath shows age, staining and wear but remains intact.
A nice original example of one of Gerber’s classic American hunting knife designs.
