Vintage Garrard Art Deco Style Mechanical Mantel Clock – Made in EnglandA lovely vintage wooden-cased Garrard mantel clock featuring an attractive Art Deco-style design, raised Arabic numerals and metal detailing to the dial.The clock houses a genuine Garrard mechanical movement, clearly marked GARRARD – Made in England, with the original patent markings visible on the movement.A particularly interesting feature is the original presentation plaque to the front, which reads approximately:“Presented to W. Cheetham in recognition of 40 years’ service 1906–1946”This gives the clock an interesting personal history and adds to its appeal as a vintage collectible.The clock measures approximately 25 cm wide and comes with an original winding key.Condition:
