Up for sale is a genuine, double-sided vintage French school wall chart published by La Maison des Instituteurs in Saint-Germain-en-Laye and printed in Paris by Imprimerie Georges Lang. Covers solid-fuel/wood/coal heating systems, including an open hearth (cheminée ancienne), a modern convection fireplace (cheminée moderne), a standard cast iron stove (poêle ordinaire), a slow-combustion stove (poêle à feu continu), a kitchen range (cuisinière), and chimney draw cowl (girouette).
Side 2 (Tableau N° 12): DIVERS MOYENS DE CHAUFFAGE
Highlights mid-century heating innovations, including town gas radiant heating (gaz de ville), bottled gas heaters (gaz butane - Faure), electric reflectors and thermal storage heaters (poêle à accumulation), an oil drip stove (poêle à mazout - marque FUELA), and catalytic petrol heating (radiateur à catalyse).
