Vintage French 8-day wooden mantle clock with decorative trim, sold as found for spares, repair, or full restoration.Features a solid wood arched case with applied decorative beaded edging and scrollwork trim.Selling as found / non-working / for parts or repair.
The mainspring feels okay / winds.
Balance wheel is not in place / displaced.
Dial glass is not tight and turns freely in the bezel.
Movement is loose / not tight in the case.
Damage to Decorative Trim: Chipped/missing section on the beaded trim along the top arch.
Hairline cracks on the lower decorative scroll moldings.Case shows age-related wear, scratches, discolouring, dust , dirt and finish loss to the wood and trim (please see photos).Some parts maybe not original, missing or broken.Please see pictures for item visual condition and sizes!
