Charming set of 4 vintage Fontanini Italy figurines featuring villagers paired with animals, including a shepherd with lamb, a figure with pig, a woman walking her dog, and a young shepherd carrying a lamb.
These pieces capture everyday pastoral life and are beautifully detailed with expressive faces, textured clothing, and hand painted finishes that Fontanini is known for. They are not strictly nativity figures, which makes them perfect for year round display or for building out a European village scene.
Likely produced in the 1970s to 1980s based on the Italy markings and classic composition style. Each piece is marked Italy on the base with individual mold numbers.
Condition is good vintage. There is visible paint wear and some scuffing, especially along the bases and edges, consistent with age and prior display. One base shows a small chip on the edge. No major structural damage. Please review photos closely for condition details.
This is a cohesive set with strong visual appeal, especially for collectors looking to expand beyond traditional nativity figures into full village storytelling pieces.
