Vintage Folk Art Wooden Hinged Box Unique Hand-Painted Design on Each Side
Neat old Folk art square box with hinged top hand painted.
Each side of the box has a unique hand-painted animal scene. The top is painted with rabbits and birds, the front with chickens, the side with a horse and a dog, the other side with goats and a squirrel and the back with a turkey and pumpkins. There are little creatures and natural elements painted in each scene. The painting is really well done but the box itself is somewhat in rough shape. The box has scraped edges and corners. This mainly affects the black color so it could be touched up if desired.
Measures: 14\" + 1\" where the extra slats are on the top and bottom x 13.5\" and 10.5\" tall
