Vintage felt pennant from FT. HARRISON, IND. — Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is the classic style of souvenir pennant a soldier would have bought at camp in the early 1930s.
The pennant is made of black felt with large gold felt appliqué letters, sewn on, reading \"FT. HARRISON, IND.\" At the hoist end is a printed U.S. Great Seal medallion, and above it a slotted changeable date banner with red sewn \"1930\" numerals on gold felt tabs.
Condition: The pennant is in used vintage condition. There are a few small moth holes near the tip — please examine the photos closely. The felt, stitching, medallion, and date banner otherwise remain bright and display well.
A great piece of Indiana military history and camp memorabilia for the collector.
