Includes 7 blue matchbooks with silver eagle graphics and 1 less-common brown and gold variation. The blue examples are front-strike matchbooks, while the brown example is a later reverse-strike style.
The Federal City Club was founded in Washington during the Kennedy era in the 1960s and became a gathering place for prominent figures in government, politics, journalism and public affairs.
All 8 matchbooks retain matches. Covers show varying vintage wear including edge wear, surface marks, creasing and handling wear. The brown example has more noticeable wear and damage near the fold. Please review all photos closely for individual condition.
