Front:
“Happy Father’s Day Dad”
Inside:
“We started with
pennies, Dad,
Once on
a time—
An’ then it increased
to a NICKEL
or
DIME!
It kept goin’ UP—
your investment in me—
But you never kicked—
or not noticeably!
But shucks, Dad,
A MILLION
could never
repay
The things
that you’ve
done for me,
day after
day—
An’ this
comes
to hope
that you’ll spend
a lot
more…
FATHER’S DAYS HAPPIER
THAN EVER BEFORE!”
Back (handwritten):
“Have a good Father’s day Dad.
With love
Blondie Ruth & Clarence.”
