**Era:** Mid-20th Century (Circa 1940s–vintage Farmer Peet's 9-pound lard tin.
**Design & Graphics:**
The main front display face is in excellent, bright condition. It features the iconic dark teal, red, and cream lithographed diamond logo, complete with the famous "Prize" pig illustration. The repeating "Farmer Peet's" little pig logos run beautifully down the sides of the cream-colored can.
**Condition Details:**
* **Front Panel:** Very clean with strong, vibrant colors. Minimal paint chipping or scratching across the main logo area. Excellent shelf display side.
* **Sides & Back:** Exhibits minor superficial age spotting, light surface scuffs, and faint paint flecks, giving it a great authentic patina.
* **Lid & Bottom:** Includes the highly sought-after original matching metal lid. The lid has surface oxidation, minor discoloration, and small rust spots consistent with its age, but it is free of severe dents and fits snugly.
* **Hardware:** The original wire bail carrying handle and metal brackets are fully intact, stable, and strong.
