Pre-owned vintage condition. The cobalt blue glass appears intact with no obvious chips or cracks visible in the photos. Vintage Farber Bros. New York cobalt blue glass bowl/basket with a decorative silver-tone metal holder and raised carrying handle. The bottom is clearly marked “FARBER BROS. NEW YORK, N.Y. PAT. NO. 87496 1924-011.”
The rich cobalt blue glass paired with the streamlined metal surround gives this piece a great vintage Art Deco appearance. It would work nicely as a candy/nut dish, serving bowl, centerpiece or collectible display piece.
