Vintage matched pair of Expertic Erzgebirge Striezelkinder vendor figures, made in the former German Democratic Republic (East Germany/DDR), circa 1970.This pair depicts a boy and girl with Bauchladen vendor trays, each carrying an assortment of tiny handmade goods. The taller male figure wears a blue-gray coat, tall brown cap, scarf, green mittens, and black boots. His tray includes miniature wares including a small chimney-sweep figure, wooden goods, and metallic foil decoration.The female figure wears a brown coat, fabric headscarf, blue mittens, and black boots.
