Charming vintage Enesco Imports Japan mallard duck decorative trinket dish / catchall featuring classic hand-painted colors and a hollow compartment in the duck’s back.
The mallard features an olive-green head, yellow-orange bill, brown chest, cream body, and blue-gray painted feather details.
The open compartment can be used for small jewelry, rings, keys, coins, keepsakes, or simply displayed as a decorative vintage piece.
A removable red fabric insert was found inside the compartment and is included with the purchase. The fabric is not attached, and I cannot verify whether it originally came with the duck.
The underside retains the original Enesco Imports Japan foil label as well as a handwritten marking.
