Vintage 1948 Elgin American "Magic Action" Lite-O-Matic cigarette case and lighter combination.
This stunning mid-century piece features a gorgeous, highly reflective finish detailed with an intricate, all-over ornate scrollwork pattern that beautifully catches the light. It serves as a spectacular example of classic American Art Deco engineering and mechanical design, making it an exceptional display piece or a rewarding restoration project for any tobacciana collector.
The structural condition of the case is excellent; the lid locks securely, and the spring-loaded interior retention arm and spring loaded lighter action works. However, the lighter mechanism does not spark or light a flame. Sold strictly as-is for parts, restoration, or display. Please review the photos for cosmetic details.
