Condition Details (Please Read & See Photos):
This sign is in honest, untouched antique condition and shows a century of authentic character:
* **Front Graphics:** The central imagery remains sharp and colorful. There is moderate-to-severe paint loss, chipping, and surface oxidation running along the upper border (notably cutting into the word "SMOKING"). Scattered minor scuffs, pinpoint paint flecks, and edge wear are present across the dark blue background.
* **Structure & Bowing:** The sign has a natural, noticeable warp/bowing common for tin-over-cardboard items of this age, due to the two materials expanding differently over time. It has NOT been altered or forced flat to preserve the brittle paint bond. The metal edge-crimping tabs are tight and secure.
* **Reverse Side:** The original cardboard backing shows typical fiber darkening, surface abrasions, and age foxing, but remains fully intact. The original braided string hanger is securely fastened.
