Vintage over-the-cup tea strainer, silverplate (E.P.N.S. — electroplated nickel silver) with a mother-of-pearl handle, made in England. Stamped on the back of the pierced tab: 'L.W.L.B E.P.N.S. MADE IN ENGLAND' (see close-up photo). Pierced Art Deco style tab, perforated bowl, approx. 6.25 inches long overall (see tape-measure photo).
Pre-owned condition: heavy tarnish throughout as pictured, with some small green corrosion spots inside the bowl and surface wear/scratches. The mother-of-pearl handle is intact with good luster. Sold as pictured — a polish would brighten it considerably. Please review all photos closely; they are part of the description.
We charge a flat $1.00 handling fee on every order. This helps cover the cost of boxes, bubble wrap, and other packing materials we use to make sure your item arrives safely.
