For your consideration, is a lot of
EC Classics Comics, 1990 and 1991 reprints of -Weird Science- #s 3 & 4
-The Vault of Horror- #s 5 & 6
-The Haunt of Fear- #s 1 & 2
The comics are in very fine to mint condition, and appear to have never been read.
The spines are tight and the pages and edges are clean.
Also included, are two letters from Gladstone publishing, informing that they would be discontinuing thr publications of this series of comics.
Gladstone Publishing was primarily famous for keeping classic Disney comic books alive in the 1980s and 1990s, particularly the iconic Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge stories by legendary artists like Carl Gladstone branched out by teaming up with dedicated EC Comics historian and publisher Russ Cochran to bring classic 1950s sci-fi comics back to newsstands.
Instead of standard 32-page books, Gladstone released these as 64-page double-issues containing two complete EC titles back-to-back.
Gladstone originally ran Weird Science for four issues.
Beginning with the fifth issue of that production block, they changed the title to The Haunt of Fear, the premiere issue under the new format, Gladstone only published two issues of it, six issues of tales from the crypt, six issues of the vault of horror,
before Russ Cochran moved the EC reprint license over to Gemstone Publishing, to make Gladstone's brief run a unique chapter for collectors.
