Vintage Deco MCM Cool 1947 Teletalk Intercom Now A Bluetooth Speaker Beautiful For Sale

This is a 1947 Teletalk intercom model 105 made in Racine WI. I think it has great deco lines leaning more modern with the big cloth covered speaker grille area and rounded edges. Sorry to say this one was a dirty mess needing some TLC. The top is solid walnut with veneer around the front & sides. The entire case was sanded & tinted to match the original factory pattern. Love the look of the walnut on the front and sides. Finished with several coats of semi gloss lacquer. Used a piece of period cloth in gold for the speaker. Applied a dark stain to the wood cross piece over the speaker opening for contrast. Much better look now. Cleaned & reused the original brass plate dial even though it is not perfect it is original. The 3 original knobs were badly damaged so I used 3 from my inventory painted black. Nice now. The lines & overall shape make this a very cool looking speaker. I like the contrast of the wood, cloth & dial. Please review the pics. On the inside, I installed a new Bluetooth digital stereo hi-fi audio amplifier with 50 watts per channel in addition to a 4" Pioneer multi range speaker. Great sound here. Yes this classic is now a real boom box. Installed the on/off/volume switch with the knob on the right. The others are fixed. DO NOT TURN. Made a new back plate. All of the electronics are hard wired and secured to the inner supports insure a long life. This is one of a kind Bluetooth stereo that is deco cool. A real conversation piece that makes a grand statement. There is a new electrical plug also. The 1947 Teletalk intercom converted to Bluetooth measures a small 11" x 8" x 6" .Will look good, sound great and fit anywhere. Let know if you have any questions. Please look at my other offerings.
