Item Description:
Up for sale is a gorgeous authentic vintage Dansk International Designs oval carving board and serving platter. A prime example of Mid-Century Modern minimalist functional design, this premium tray is beautifully hand-crafted from genuine teakwood.
It features an elegant elongated oval silhouette with a deep, specialized perimeter juice groove and an inner contoured well meant to secure roasts, turkey, ham, or fish while carving. The bottom is cleanly heat-stamped with the official \"Dansk International Designs Ltd. Malaysia HQ\" brand mark.
An indispensable addition for collectors of vintage Dansk, Scandinavian modern kitchenware, or upscale MCM dinner party hosting.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. The teak wood is structurally sound, remarkably flat, and shows no cracks, deep splits, or warping. The surface is smooth and clean with only minor, expected light surface knife marks from gentle, honest use over the years. The wood grain is vibrant and has a stunning golden-honey color. Please see all photos for exact condition and details.
Shipping & Care:
Will be packed securely with professional cushioning to guarantee safe arrival. Hand wash only with mild soap—never submerge or place in a dishwasher. Periodic conditioning with food-grade mineral oil or teak oil will keep the wood rich and hydrated for decades to come.
