From our great grandmothers collection.Beautiful vintage figural Santa Claus glass Christmas ornament featuring a brilliant red suit, silvered face and accents, bright blue painted eyes, and textured white mica/glitter-style decoration on Santa’s beard, hat and clothing.The metal ornament cap appears to be marked Czechoslovakia, and a close-up photograph of the marking is included for buyers to review.Santa measures approximately 5½ inches tall from just below the metal cap to the bottom. The cap and hanging loop add a little additional height.This is a wonderful older Christmas ornament with lots of vintage character. The large figural design and blue-eyed Santa face make it especially attractive for a collection of antique/vintage European glass Christmas ornaments.Because of its age, some surface wear, oxidation/silvering wear and loss to the decorative finish may be present.
