Vintage primitive style silhouette Canada Goose flat display decoy expertly crafted by Country Pleasures. This striking rustic folk art figurine features a beautifully carved wooden profile "flattie" layout depicting an alert goose with an upturned head and distinctive open beak configuration. Meticulously hand-painted with a beautiful matte distressed aesthetic, the piece showcases a rich dark brown-black body coat, a contrasting cream-colored chest panel and cheek patch, and natural exposed wood grains along the wing highlights and head trim. The decoy body is sturdily fixed onto a thick, raw-edge solid wood rectangular plinth base that proudly bears the official wood-burned "Country Pleasures" manufacturer brand insignia on its side profile. This item measures approximately 22 inches in total horizontal length from the tip of the tail to the front point of the beak, stands roughly 14 inches tall from the bottom of the display base to the highest tip of the open calling bill, and features a solid base profile width of about 2.5 inches. This collectible is in excellent vintage pre-owned condition, emphasizing purposeful factory distressing, minimal shelf scuffing, and clean unmarred edges.
