Up for sale is a stunning, highly decorative vintage Chinese Rose Medallion / Famille Rose porcelain foot bath basin. This impressive statement piece is heavily decorated with vibrant overglaze enamels featuring alternating panels of traditional Chinese courtyard figures, birds, butterflies, and lush floral motifs, all accented by rich gilded gold borders.

The interior of the oval basin features beautiful hand-painted goldfish/koi swimming among green aquatic reeds—a traditional Chinese symbol of wealth and prosperity. It is flanked by two large, ornate parcel-gilded handles and sits on a matching low-profile flared foot ring.

The underside bears an iron-red 4-character square seal mark reading "景德镇制" (Jingdezhen Zhi / "Made in Jingdezhen"), dating this exceptional piece to the mid-to-late 20th century export period.
