Vintage Chinese Famille Rose Bangchuiping Rouleau Porcelain Vase Marked 13in For Sale

This elegant Antique Chinese Famille Rose Bangchuiping Rouleau Porcelain Vase is a beautifully executed example of traditional Chinese decorative porcelain. Featuring finely hand-painted figural scenes, delicate floral ornamentation, and vibrant famille rose enamels, the vase embodies the refined artistry and decorative sophistication associated with Chinese export and decorative porcelains.

The vase is decorated with a continuous narrative scene depicting elegantly dressed scholars and court figures gathered within a tranquil garden landscape. Flowing robes in soft shades of blue, coral, pink, and green are rendered with remarkable detail, while a flowering tree and dramatic scholar's rock create a harmonious natural setting. The upper neck is richly adorned with colorful floral sprays, scrolling foliate motifs, and decorative borders executed in traditional famille rose colors.

Its graceful Bangchuiping (stick vase) form features a broad flared neck rising from a cylindrical body, creating an elegant vertical profile highly prized in Chinese decorative arts. The bright white porcelain ground provides a striking backdrop for the vivid hand-painted enamels and intricate decorative details.

The underside bears a red Chinese character mark, adding authenticity and collector appeal. While the mark should not be interpreted as guaranteeing a specific dynasty period without further expert examination, it enhances the decorative and collectible nature of the piece.

Ideal for display in traditional, Asian-inspired, or eclectic interiors, this vase serves as both a decorative centerpiece and a fine example of Chinese porcelain artistry. Whether displayed individually or as part of a porcelain collection, it offers timeless elegance and visual sophistication.
