Vintage Chinese hand-carved green stone lidded vase (covered urn) with pierced flower-and-bird handles, carved orchid and leaf decoration on both sides, and a fitted lid with a bud finial. Mottled apple-green and white stone. "Made in China" label on the base.
- Approx. 6.5" tall with lid (see ruler photo)- Material: carved green stone, sold as a decorative hardstone carving. NOTE: our gem tester did NOT read it as jadeite, so we are not calling it jade.
Condition: Vintage condition with small chips on the lid edge - please see all close-up photos. Sold as found.
