Vintage Chinese Asian Mud Man Fishing Pair Figurines 1930s 7 Inch Tall For Sale

Beautiful matched pair of Chinese Mud Men purchased from an estate about 26 years ago. These belonged to the family of a retired military officer and were said to be acquired in the 1930\'s. Each is marked CHINA inside with a stamp that was indented into the mud. They glaze is a lighter glaze and varies - there is little to no glaze on the skin portions, more on the clothing and hats. One fisherman holds a carp; the other a pot. The figures stand 7 inches high, are about 5 inches long, and 3 1/2 inches wide. They are in very good condition with no damage noted. Each weighs just over 1 pound 6 ounces for a total weight of about 2 pounds 13 ounces.
