The Picture Deck has been checked against the published Eames reference and contains all 54 different Picture Deck designs.
The Pattern Deck contains 53 of the 54 different designs. One design is missing. The photographs show the 53 designs arranged in the published reference order, with an empty space left for the missing card. The remaining 35 Pattern Deck cards are additional/duplicate designs and are shown separately.
All cards have the six slots characteristic of the Eames House of Cards system, allowing them to be interconnected to create three-dimensional structures.
Condition:The cards are vintage and show varying amounts of age and use. Please enlarge the photographs to evaluate individual card condition. Representative photographs of both the gold-asterisk and black-asterisk backs are included.
The original box shows substantial age/storage wear, including spotting/soiling, edge and corner wear, and areas of surface-paper loss. These areas are shown clearly in the photographs.
Please note:This is not being represented as two complete decks. The Picture Deck is complete at 54 cards; the Pattern Deck has 53 of the 54 different designs, together with 35 additional/duplicate Pattern Deck cards.
