A wonderful piece of mid-century German scientific equipment — an original Carl Zeiss Laboratory Microscope, Model KF, complete with its fitted wooden storage cabinet, additional optics/accessories, and original Zeiss Model KF literature.
Made in Germany by Carl Zeiss, this substantial laboratory microscope features the classic black enamel finish, binocular viewing head, rotating objective turret, mechanical stage and built-in illumination system.

Included with the microscope are several additional vintage microscope accessories and optics, including the wooden accessory holder and assorted laboratory items shown in the photographs. Also included is the original Zeiss Laboratory Microscope Model KF booklet/catalog bearing an E. F. Mahady Co. dealer label from Cambridge, Massachusetts.
An old service label from Microscope Service Co., Massachusetts remains on the base and appears to be dated 1984, adding a nice bit of its working history.
Condition
Vintage used condition with normal cosmetic wear, scratches, dust and signs of laboratory use.
The wooden storage cabinet shows considerable interior wear, staining, scuffs and residue from years of use. The original booklet has edge wear, creasing, scratches and general age-related wear.
