Up for sale is a vintage Caribe Mexicano fixed blade hunting/Bowie knife made in Mexico.
This knife features a polished stainless steel blade with decorative etched artwork and the "Caribe Mexicano" marking. The handle is crafted from hardwood with deep finger grooves, brass guard and fittings, and a detailed cast eagle head pommel. It comes with its original tooled leather sheath featuring decorative stamped designs and an anchor emblem.
These Mexican-made knives were popular tourist and sporting knives and have become collectible for their unique styling.
