Wonderful 14 Lot of vintage cartes de visite (CDVs) of assorted students from Central Europe technical and mining academies featuring regional German photo studios such as Bruno Saemann in Freiberg and C. Ahrenhold in Bad Altenau and Clausthal. Measure approx. 2.5 x 4\" each formal portrait wearing traditional student caps and academia corps regalia. Reverse of each include studio stamps with detailed inscriptions, signatures and dates ranging 1892-99 with fraternity terminology addressed to H. Payne or H.E. Payne.
